Ever heard of Joe Girard?

When Joe was selling cars he would do some crazy stuff with his business cards:

How about going to a baseball game and sitting in the upper deck (hey he could afford to sit anywhere he wanted) and when the home team gets a run, then along with everyone else jumping up and down, he would throw a bunch of his business cards down onto the the lower deck (the expensive seats, ie the people with money). These cards would offer a discount on a new car, but the discount is only available for one day.

How many sales do you think he made the next day?

Is that crazy way to use your business cards or what!
