Business Card Design Secrets #1
It’s almost scary how many business people mess up one of the most important business card design considerations…Â
Your business card is a little 2.5×3 piece of paper that could be worth a fortune to you, with the right design for your business that is. There really are some highly effective design strategies that most business people simply don’t know about, which can truly help make their business card the most effective it can be. In this article you’ll learn one very effective business card design secret which will help you attract more clients into your business.
When you learn and apply this simple secret in the design of your new business cards you’ll have a more effective business card than 99% of your competition.
It’s almost scary how many business people mess up one of the most important business card design considerations:
Making Them Readable!
Consider for a moment if your prospect really wants to work hard just to find your name or contact information.
Not Likely!
So don’t go crazy with the colours and background to the point where it is difficult to actually read the content (which is really the most important thing on the card). Make sure you use a nice clear typeface and have the words on a area where they will not be obscured by the background and colours.
As a little experiement, take a look at a few business cards from your competition and see how many of them break this rule. Then don’t forget this little secret when designing your next business card.
I hope this helps your business card success.
Have a great day!

Business Card Search Engine:

I agree with you completely. I work at www.mind2print.com where we do business cards more than anything else. We usually sell our pre-designed business card designs but also do a lot of custom designed business cards. Usually, when a client wants a new business card designed we ask them to show us their old one. Most times when I look at their business card I have to search for their name and contact information. What bothers me the most is when the size of the text is very small. I don’t understand why anyone would design a business card with small text or text on a busy background.
