How Many Different Business Cards Do You Need?
Quite simply, you need different business cards for each “type” of client that could want your product or service.
Let’s take a dry-cleaning business for example:
So who are the people using your service?
Executives?
Middle-management?
White-collar workers?
Blue-collar workers?
Home-workers?
Will a generic business card satisfy this diverse group of people? It could, but you will do much better with specific targeted business cards for each:
Would a card that highlights the care taken with expensive and/or delicate clothing be of more interest to an executive?
Maybe a home-worker or blue-collar worker would be more interested in a quick turnaround.
The best way to find out what your clients like about your business is to … ask them! Chances are that others like them want the same types of things.
I hope this helps you figure out new types of business cards to create.
Have a good one!
